|
Dear Friends: Please find below the monthly calendar of events that I've personally selected for you. The Manhattan real estate market has been quiet in August, but still defies national trends. Update on Australian Cattle Dog rescue: Juno and Cowboy are in foster homes, with possible "forever" homes in place. Next is "Oz," a 3-year old blue, who will be coming to NY in a few weeks, from Florida. As always, we are in dire need of foster homes - a night, a week, or a "forever" home - so we can get these dogs safely out of kill shelters, usually from the south. If you or anyone you know might be interested in fostering a dog, please contact me. Sometimes, a place to stay for a night is the difference between life and death for these innocent souls. A NOTE about these EMAILS: Only if you've ever signed in at an open house, or had emailed me for some reason or another, would you be on this list. We have recently switched to a different data-management system, and a few individuals who did not wish to receive this Calendar have recently received it, with our sincere apologies. I'm hoping the problem has been resolved, but if by chance, you receive this email in error, or if you wish to be removed, we apologize in advance - please let me know, and I will do the utmost to correct the matter. Best, Squad
